Featuring grids lines and segments, these paintings explore the patterns in life cycles. They are inspired by the cyclical repetition across generations, creating an imperfect, yet connected storyline.

“The background of Blushing has a grid-like pattern. It’s subtle; almost sun bleached. The composition of the painting flows in and out of the segments, like chapters in a story. It’s the story of a lifetime, weaving in and out of different moments. The bottom middle section is a particular memory evoking love, hence the blushing. My hope is that the viewer connects with the emotion of the piece and recognizes their own history in it”
