Part of the series Tracing Lines:

Featuring grids lines and segments, these paintings explore the patterns in life cycles. They are inspired by the cyclical repetition across generations, creating an imperfect, yet connected storyline.

“In this painting, I am interested in duality. The boundary created by the color blocking highlights the line and color work in this painting. Two sides of the same coin. A conversation with two perspectives which are more alike than different.

The linework in the bottom part of the painting is light and delicate, in contrast to the deeper layered brushstrokes in the upper section.”
